About Perry Brass

5c5dcd7d9498ad2f4ef386eb3621a822Perry Brass frequently writes for The Huffington Post, New York’s Gay City News, and other journals and sites. He is a full member of the PEN American Center and is a founding coordinator of the Rainbow Book Fair, the biggest LGBT book event in the US. He has been a finalist six times for Lambda Literary Awards and has won five IPPY Awards from the Jenkins Group’s Independent Publishers Association. His much-praised gay Southern coming-of-age novel, King of Angels was a finalist for the Ferro-Grumley Award for LGBT Fiction from New York’s Ferro-Grumley Foundation.
